Ceramic Booster Spray is Terrible

I have a 2020 Dodge Challenger 1320. I have already applied AvalonKing Ceramic coating awhile back. Well it was about time to hit the car with the AvalonKing booster spray. For some reason this stuff is HARD to buff off. I started off using a soft buffing towel to buff it off but that wasn't cutting it. The stuff would just swear. So then I started using a regular microfiber towel and then it started to come off. However it took a lot of buffing to get off. I did the whole car since I started but I will NEVER use it again. It went in the trash.

Hello Marland!
Quite a few of our customers have indeed complained about the difficulty with buffing off the original ceramic booster spray. We have a reformulated version and I'd like for you to give it a try! I'm sending you a free replacement with the new product so that you can give it a go and hopefully with much better (and easier) results!

Not great

I had hoped that the company would have worked to improve the product. I am fortunate that my car’s paint is such that you cannot see the hazy residue it leaves behind but the windows!!! PLEASE DO NOT USE ON WINDOWS. The haze is almost near impossible to eliminate. I am glad that I noticed this issue before making the mistake of using in the front window.

It is easy to put on but DO NOT LET IT TRY. This would make it so much harder to wipe off. Just give a few seconds to wipe off. But if you have a dark color vehicle you will have to deal with the hazy swirls.

Terrible to remove

Extremely hard to level. Left with streaking. Spoke with Dale @ Avalon King about using different microfibers and about removal time. Took his advice and could never make the product look acceptable. Maybe added a month to the already diminishing ceramic coating.

Diluting booster spray

I initially used booster spray a couple months ago and experienced same issue as others with difficulty of removal. I diluted spray 1:1 with distilled water today and product was much easier to remove. I understand this reduces SIO2 but product still provided great gloss and slickness. Durability may be diminished but I’m willing to accept that for ease of use. Just thought I would share my experience with others. Good day fellow detailers.

Great product and amazing shine!

I will agree with some of the reviews that this product can be difficult to wipe off, but I have experimented and found that a small amount of product (2 - 3 sprays per panel) on a plush microfiber towel works incredibly well and requires much less effort to remove. Using the included application microfiber application pad is most definitely NOT the way to apply this ceramic booster spray!
