MICROFIBRE BUFFING TOWELS SO PLUSH YOU’LL WISH YOUR BED WAS MADE OF THEM

Look, we understand you probably have better things to be doing than washing and detailing your car, so you might be inclined to cut a few corners. Any old cloth or rag will do as long as it’s somewhat clean, right? WRONG!

We’re here to figuratively slap you in the face with an ultra-plush micro-reminder that only the best is good enough for you, and you, yes YOU, deserve nice things. Nobody wants to see scratches or swirls in their car’s paintwork, glass, chrome, or plastic, and some of those crusty old cloths are itching to inflict some serious damage.

This isn’t just a 3-pack of the finest microfiber buffing towels available on the market, or a wax removing, ceramic boost spray smoothing, quick detailing towel – it’s the microfiber 3-pack of your dreams!

  • 3 x ultra-plush microfiber buffing towels.
  • 16’ x 16’ edgeless buffing towel with an 80/20 microfibre blend and 470 GSM weight
  • Removes spray waxes and other residuals. Leaves only streak-free brilliant shine.
  • Machine washable with normal detergent and cold water, dryer set on low temperature and no dryer sheets.
  • Reusable waterproof storage bag
  • Contrary to internet rumours these will not “wipe away shame, regrets or embarrassment” unless they are specifically linked to your car’s surface.
  • Remove from packaging, important!
  • Using one at a time, fold into four, equal sized squares so they fit perfectly into your hand.
  • Wipe surface with one side until it’s dirty or holding residue. Continue until full microfiber buffing towel is too contaminated, use another clean one.
  • Wash and re-use

You Have to Know How To Use These

These are some good towels. In order to get the best performance from them, you have to do your prep work. TLDR: If your surface is not smooth, you will get lint left behind when using. When you first remove these from the package, take them outside and shake them out. Toss them in the washer using a dye and perfume free detergent, place them on the hand wash cycle with tap water temp. After they're done, toss then in the dryer on the Air Dry setting. Now the towels are ready to use....BUT only on surfaces that have been thoroughly decontaminated, and sealed!! The fibers on these towels are so plush that they will snag on ANY imperfection on the surface, thus leaving behind lint. I was using them as a buffer after IPA wipes on a newly corrected panel, and they still left behind lint. Where these towels excel is the buffing after a coating has been applied. After the coating has been leveled use these to buff off that small amount that you can not see. When used on a properly coated surface they glide on top of the surface leaving no residue and a coating free surface. I hope this helps.

No Problems on My End

No problems using the towels for the purpose of buffing. I washed the towels before hand and machine dried as well. Used it as a final buff for toppers, sealants, and waxes. I did not use it to apply, only to buff. No problems with lint appearing or any streaking or smearing. I found it easy to use just one towel for the entirety of a sedan, unsure about SUVs, CUVs, or vans.

Leaves a lot of lint behind.

As others have stated, these towels are very plush and good for all around use but definitely NOT for removing ceramic. I tried to remove some ceramic after it flashed and the rags left an insane amount of fibers in the ceramic. I love everything else from Avalon King and will be a regular customer but I will pass on these from now on.

Good idea bad execution

As others stated, the towels are unusable due to the amount of lint/fibers left behind. I’ve also tried washing these towels before initial use with the same results.

Not a good towel!

Leaves a shit ton of lint on the car. Very soft but even after washing leaves so much lint its not worth using. The microfiber towels on the other hand are awesome just not the buffing towels.

Not Worth It

I have to say this. These towels are super push and I thought they would be awesome for buffing off excess after the ceramic coating flashes (i coated my motorcycle last weekend). While they do the job they leave hundreds of tiny fibers on every single surface they touch. And when you are trying to let the coating cure, this isn't something you want to happen. The coating process was awesome, easy, and highly recommended, but DO NOT use these towels; use the black ones that come in the box with Armor Shield IX. Those are phenomenal.. Im currently using these supposedly awesome buffing towels as my every day use, who cares if they get dirty, throw away towels and I absolultely do not use them on my motorcycle's paint job or chrome; mainly just for cleaning off the radiator, wheels, bug juice on tires,, etc. I was supremely disappointed in these especially after feeling how plush and soft they are. They are not worth it in any way.

Non-essential

I think a lot of the Avalon King products do make the prep phase very easy but these in particular are not required. I think these would be useful if you had to do a heavy-duty prep where you're using products to help deep-clean and remove grime and residue. And also maybe if you are preparing to use other products in the future. But I didn't find them very useful during the prep phase other than being really good at drying the vehicle. Otherwise I found that they left too many streaks and fluff behind, which you obviously want neither as you prep for the Armor Shield IX coating.

Real good quality

I go through a lot of cloths every year because I darn near use em for everything. Most last for one or two uses and I bin or I'll lose em. These are real good quality from Avalon King. Kept the zippy bag to store keep em in after washing too.
