Excellent products and communication

This Avalon King Armor Shield IX is some kind of amazingly great…ummm…stuff. As you can see by the other reviews, the depth of shine, water beading, yada, yada are world class. I agree with ‘em, and I’m obsessive/compulsive about keeping my vehicles clean and waxed. Been doing it since I bought my first car in 1967. ( ‘53 MG-TD. I loved that car. It got me a lot of dates and taught me car mechanics.) And, yeah, I’m that old.
So, having done the Avalon ceramic coating process, here are my thoughts and suggestions:
— Easiest wax/coating/whatever I have ever applied to a car. And the best results I’ve ever seen.
— Do the prep work. Your end result will only be as good as the prep work you did. I did the whole enchilada: thorough wash, clay bar, polish, spray with the IPA stuff. I also used the Iron and Fallout Remover from another company. (I highly recommend it.) Yeah, the prep is a whole lotta work. Just do it.
— The reusable clay bar mitt is much easier to use than real clay bar, and works just as well. I was skeptical. Been using real clay for…OMG…half a century? Get the mitt and be sure to use the clay bar slippery spray. A light touch is all you need using the mitt.
— If you have a large vehicle with a lot of sheet metal (like my Chevy Colorado) you’ll need two bottles of the stuff. One 30 ml bottle will probably be enough to do a small to medium size car. Plan and purchase accordingly. YMMV.
— I divided the truck into sections (roof, hood, doors, etc.) and did one a day until the truck was done. But then, hell, I’m 74 years old. You young whippersnappers can probably do it in one go. Just take your time and do it right. RTFM, as they say.
— Bug guts splatter on the front of the hood and front of the vehicle just wipe away when you wash the vehicle. Easy peasy. I’ve never experienced that before. I was prepared to do some rubbing, but the bug crap just disappeared with a pass of the wash mitt. That alone made it worth the work and money.
— Put it on all the surfaces: painted, plastic, glass, rims, mud guards, tires, rims, etc. It’s like Rain X on glass, only it will probably last longer. It makes the black plastic trim look new and you’ll be happy with how your rims stay clean longer.
— My previous go-to cleaner/wax (Meguair’s) is at the curb, in the trash. I’ll just use the Psycho Pro detail spray once every other month because, as you may remember, I’m obsessive/compulsive.
— Avalon King marketing is some of the best I’ve ever seen for car care products. My career was in marketing. Their branding is funny, very real, irreverent, honest, and right on target for the demographic they want to persuade. (That would be you, you under 35 male whippersnapper.) Keep up the good work, AK.
That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

I have used other products in the past that took a lot of work applying and removing it. This stuff all you have to do is wipe on and wipe off.

Been using this ceramic coating product for several years and have applied it to a number of vehicles. Results are always amazing. It is a breeze to apply & remove, and the resultant shine is extremely durable. I recommend Armor Shield IX without hesitation

This was my first time doing paint correction. Also my first time applying any sort of ceramic coating. I could not be more pleased with the results. My Carrera is 23 years old and has the original paint. It came out looking fantastic! The pictures do not lie!
