It’s an awful lot of work but the end result is well worth it. I bought the Armor Shield IX Max DIY, and with proper maintenance this should last for years!
Work nice .
The application of the coating was very easy. It flashed quick so I only did 2x2 sections at a time (I live in the southern part of the U.S.). I did all the steps to completely strip the paint of contaminants, polish, and coat it. It’s easy for a DIYer. I will see how the longevity of it is as compared to my other car (coated by a different brand).
Just finished applying the Armor Shield IX to my 2023 Tacoma. Was amazed at the ease of the task! Proper prep before hand, clay bar, degreasing, cool surfaces, really made this a job I didn't think was going to be "easy." Very pleased with the finished product. Going to be prepping the wife's car in the near future and get hers done as well.
I love the product it works amazing and is easily applied! The one downside that I found is the applicator is to squishy and ends up making it hard to apply! I realized this and use the normal firm applicator that yall have on the standard armor shield and it was amazing with that applicator!
