The old-school fabric guards are solvent based. They stink up the cabin for a week, and if a bit of overspray lands on the dash or door plastics it leaves a haze you can't buff out.
This one is water based and scent free. It hydrophobes most textiles, including fragile fabrics, and the color-safe formula won't stain the seat or wreck the plastics around it.
Once cured, liquid beads on top of the fibers. Coffee, rain through the window you forgot to close, the dog. Blot it, and move on.
Professional level stain defense, tailor made for DIY.
Start with clean, dry fabric. Anything already in the fibers gets sealed in, so vacuum and spot clean first.
- Spray directly onto the fabric, an even light coat.
- Brush it in from all angles so it reaches between the fibers.
- Let it cure for 4 to 8 hours before you sit on it or get it wet.
Bonus step: Drip some water on it tomorrow and watch it bead. Continue.
16 fl oz / 473 ml per bottle.
A vacuum, a soft brush and a few hours of cure time. That's the whole list.
If you want the best results:
- Vacuum the seats, carpets and mats so the coating bonds to fabric, not to crumbs.
- Spot clean any stains and let everything dry completely.
- Brush the coating in with a soft detailing brush, then keep a towel from our multi purpose Microfibre 6 pack handy to catch any overspray.
THE DO'S ✅
- DO Start Clean and Dry: Vacuum, spot clean, and let the fabric dry fully before you spray.
- DO Brush It In: A soft brush from all angles gets the coating down between the fibers, where it needs to be.
- DO Give It 4 to 8 Hours: That's the cure window on the bottle. Keep the seats dry and empty until then.
- DO Test a Hidden Spot: It's color safe, but a quick check under the seat costs you nothing.
THE DON'TS ❌
- DON'T Soak the Fabric: A light, even coat beads just as well as a drenched one and cures faster.
- DON'T Coat Over Stains: Whatever is in the fibers when you spray stays in the fibers.
- DON'T Rush the Cure: Sitting on it or spilling on it in the first few hours undoes the work.
- DON'T Spray It in Your Eyes: Even if you still think blinker fluid is a real thing.
WATER-BASED. ZERO CHEMICAL SMELL.
Scent free and water based, so your cabin smells like your cabin. No solvent fumes, no cracking the windows for a week.
SAFE ON THE TRIM NEXT TO IT
Overspray on plastics and vinyl won't haze or stain them, so you can hit seats, carpets and mats without taping off half the interior.
