Background Information: 2019 Chevy Corvette convertible, Z06/Z07, Arctic White, reside in the Pacific Northwest. Car is garaged most of the year as we only have 4 to 5 months or nice driving weather.

The product arrived in a reasonable amount of time, but that was not a concern as I had to wait for the temperature and humidity to be within specifications. I appreciated all of the emails with application tips. In the mean time I researched the product further, read and watched video reviews and probably over thought the entire thing. I was apprehensive as some reviews said it had a strong odor - I found that nondescript nor offensive. Some reviews indicated it would be nice if there was a clear bottle so you could see the amount of product remaining - my bottle has a view strip - so a non-issue. Some reviews indicated that the dwell time is variable - I found 5 to 10 minutes okay and was bale to apply in larges sections but still wonder if I left it on long enough.

I followed the instructions, and the longest, and most time consuming part of the process was the paint preparation step which took a few days working on and off. I followed the IPA wiping process several times as dust blew into the garage, and prior to application wiped the car off again so as to avoid any dust from becoming encapsulated. Today the temperature and humidity came in spec, 63 deg F and 49% humidity in the garage. The entire application process took less than three hours and I had enough product remaining so I was able to do the rims. My only concern is if I left the product dwell long enough but I plan to refresh the coating in a year so I figured no harm. Arctic white is a difficult color to work on as it does not show product flashing and it does not “pop” as reds, blues, or black color cars do. Upon completion I saw a deeper shine and the wife said it was blinding.

I’ll definitely make another purchase within a year or may try using the Avalon Shield MAX. Since the car is garaged most of the time and not exposed to environmental situations, but does get washed and it has been out in the rain, the longevity of the product life is not a major concern for me. So, today I’m a believer!

All in all I was very pleased and will be applying another coat in about a year, again this is a measure that will lessen exterior maintenance and car show preparation time.

This is the first ceramic coating I used on my car, usually just a weekly topper spray. I prep the paint and applied the coating as directed and after 48hrs in the garage I used armor shield light as a topper and left the car in the garage for 3 more days. The shine and slickness is unparalleled, as of right now I have no plans to use anything different.

Put it on my RAV4 and my sister’s Civic and they came out great. A nice shine and I love how hydrophobic it is now. I hope it really last 2 years because it looks great.

This is an easy to apply solution for those seeking a beautiful look, making life easier by cutting down wash time, at a great price. I think I have used this over half a dozen times now and it’s the same quality so consistency is key.

As described. Definitely takes more product to cover vehicle adequately than I thought.
