- Wrap 1 of the supplied clothes around the applicator sponge. Using the card provided, press the cloth into both sides to firmly secure it.
- Shake the bottle then liberally apply drops to heavily saturate the cloth.
- Wipe a thick layer across the car surface. Go horizontally, then vertically to ensure an even application.
- Continue to spread in a cross hatch pattern until you have completely covered the surface.
- Let the coating sit until it flashes, then remove the residue by lightly buffing with the supplied towel.
- Once done, proceed to apply and then buff the coating 1 body part at a time.
To obtain optimal performance, it is essential that the car surface is perfectly clean and smooth. It must also be completely free from other waxes or sealants.

- Clean and decontaminate with AvalonKing's Ceramic Prep Shampoo & washmitt.

- Polish the surface

As described. Definitely takes more product to cover vehicle adequately than I thought.
So, I tend to be super OCD and strive for relentless perfection and am often disappointed. However, in this case I was quite pleased & surprised. I use Griots generally for regular maintenance and have 2 of their buffers. About 2 months ago, I did a 2 stage cut & buff on the G-Wagen, then a month later had the dealer touch it up. I clayed it back in July before the cut & buff. Since I am in TX, I waited til the weather broke a bit. I decided to use the Griot's polish on all the exterior glass. Great idea IMO. I got up early on 9/30 and did a good foam wash, used the Griot's "rubber" clay tool to smooth out the surface. Once I dried it after rinsing it with RO water (I have very hard water where I am at), I did the IPA prep as directed (twice), and did everything, rubber trim, gaskets, glass and metal. The whole 'shebang'. Ok, that was easy. Decided last minute to pull the spare tire and mount, so did that, then after a good lunch and a bit of a rest, I started in earnest. Did 2 coats and went through a LOT of towels. Took my time and did it with OCD/ADD 'perfection'. Finished at 10:30 at night. Did everything! Looks great. In all, I was too worried about doing it all at one time and being a perfectionist. It's not hard. The sooner you start, the sooner you finish. I have not washed it yet, but hope to soon. Am interested to see how water reacts on the surface. Regrets: I guess the high-end coatings were not available when I bought mine. Bummer! Pro Tip: buy 2 kits, and their microfiber towels are the best! Don't cheap-out.
The product was really easy to use with the instructions provided. It currently looks beautiful. I am just hoping that it does not rain for another 24 hours while I’m waiting for it to cure.
Just got done double coating my GT350 after a full paint correction and not only was the process simple/ painless, but now my car “Th Dragon” has a beautiful deep mirror shine, even on matte paint! So I 110% would recommend for the DIY-er car person!
If you want to give your car/truck that candy coating look, then you got to use this stuff! It will give it that candy coating look that people won't stop asking you about.
